Customization · How-to guide
White labeling
Apply your organization's theme, content, emails, and certificates.
White labeling lets Kokobi match your organization across public pages, the learner portal, notifications, and certificates. A custom domain provides the tenant context for branded public and learner pages. Email and certificate customizations are organization-scoped and can also apply without a custom domain.
Open Admin > Customizations to edit the active organization. Use the language selector in the admin header to maintain separate English and French content.
Theme#
The Theme tab controls the visual foundation of your portal:
- Primary color and its foreground color.
- Secondary color and its foreground color.
- Separate color values for light and dark modes.
- Heading font.
- Body font.
Use the built-in preview to check both light and dark modes before saving. Choose foreground colors with enough contrast for text and controls.
Pages#
The Pages tab provides localized content for key public and learner experiences.
Home Page#
Customize the introduction shown on your organization's home page. You can also show or hide the Documentation, Learner, and Admin buttons.
Course and Collection Pages#
Customize the action text and supporting text on public course and collection join pages. These messages are useful for explaining eligibility, approvals, or what happens after a learner requests access.
Learner Page Embed#
Organization owners can enable approved custom learner components and add trusted embed HTML to learner pages on the custom domain. Embed HTML, scripts, and iframes are rendered as provided, so only use code you control and review.
Emails#
The Emails tab customizes the subject, title, description, and supporting text for notification templates, including:
- Course and collection invitations.
- Access requests and their accepted or rejected responses.
- Course and collection completion messages.
- Inactive course notifications.
Edit and preview each locale independently. If a field is not customized, Kokobi uses its localized default.
Certificates#
The Certificate tab controls certificates learners can download after completion. You can customize:
- Title.
- Description.
- Supporting text that references the completed resource.
- Background image.
The preview shows certificates for content owned by the active organization and content shared from another organization. This helps verify how both organization identities appear.
Organization Identity#
Your organization name, logo, icon, and support email are reused across Kokobi's branded experiences. Manage these values through the organization's management dialog, then use Customizations for the portal-specific theme and content.
